Summer is winding down. People here in Georgia are heading back to school. Meanwhile, I still have about two weeks until school starts for me. However, I’m excited to get back to Pomona and to see my friends. Truthfully, I didn’t keep in contact with everybody I was supposed to. Before somebody comments on what kind of friend I am, I can explain….

Eventually, I learned how to use oovoo and had many other calls. However, the time differences were issues too! Many text messages later, we discovered a time when we could all talk. During one particular conversation, I noticed how alike my friend Melissa and I are.
Well, as I said before, keeping in touch (or I should say video chatting) with friends was challenging, but it was worth it. Since I am a pro at using oovoo now, I’m sure we will do better next summer.
If not….that’s what cell phones are for, right?
