Happy Halloween!

Today is October 31st.  For the rest of the world, that means Halloween.  But for most of us in college, it just means Wednesday; Halloween was all celebrated over the weekend with Harwood Halloween and parties and all that, back when we had a couple hours to spare.  It’s always funny to think how for us Halloween is “over” several days before it actually occurs.  B...

Journal 3- Up All Night

Earlier this morning, Directioners across the world tuned in to BBC Radio 1 to hear the premier play of One Direction's latest single, "Little Things." I, being a true Directioner, stayed "Up All Night" to hear the song. I'd heard via Twitter and Tumblr that the song would air on the Radio 1 Breakfast Show with Nick Grimshaw. (more…)

Here are some responses: (more…)

Reflections on Fall Break

They say insanity is doing the same thing more than once and expecting different results. I don’t usually think of myself as insane, but here I am at the end of yet another Fall Break in which I didn’t get done nearly as much as I thought I would.  Some things I was supposed to do: make progress on thesis—um, well, I went to the library and now have a huge stack of books to rea...
