Journal 7- The Finals are Coming

Paradoxical stuff happens when finals come around.

(1) I want to hang out with friends and have fun.
(2) I decide not to, because I have to study and get work done.
(3) I stay in my room trying to work, but I can’t resist the urge to procrastinate.
(4) I procrastinate for hours and regret not just going out with friends and having fun.
Really, though, I’m sure I can’t be the only one.

I’ve noticed that my sponsor group has been out lately. I’m not sure what’s going on, but nobody’s been in their rooms this weekend. Maybe they’re studying. I really can’t say, because I haven’t seen them around.

I’ve come across a girl on Tumblr who is interested in coming to Pomona. In actuality, I’ve found about three such people. Two applied ED and are anxiously awaiting their envelopes. One is applying as a transfer student. Good luck!!!

The life of a freshman English major, finals version: I have a presentation and paper due for ID1, two English papers, and a chemistry exam.

Next semester looks bright.
