Over the summer, I decided I was going to try something new once I got to college, so when a link to the KASA Freshman Hip-Hop Team was posted on Facebook, I joined the team with absolutely no dance experience. Tonight was our second practice and we had a guest instructor. So in my second ever hip-hop practice, I was learning from a JabbaWockee. For those of you who may not know, these are the JabbaWockeeZ.
It was insanely fun (and really difficult for someone with two left feet like myself). We worked on some new choreography specifically for our team. Unfortunately, the video is on strict lock-down. (It’s a competition! We don’t want anyone seeing our moves) Although that’s probably best for me because I was pretty lost after the first 16 beats or so. Stay tuned though, I’ll get the video up once it’s cleared.
