By now, I’m sure we are all familiar with our lovely mascot, the sagehen. That adorable blue and orange bird that can be seen all around campus during sporting events or first-year orientation. But I think it’s time to reveal the true nature of the bird behind the blue and orange feathers.The male sagehen, or sage-grouse, is especially known for its unique mating rituals.
